Description

Cooper Standard is hiring an on-site Operations Manager to lead plant manufacturing operations and provide leadership oversight for Material Planning and Logistics (MP&L). The role covers safety, quality, delivery, cost, staffing, labor relations, production efficiency, scheduling, inventory, shipping, receiving, vendor releasing, customer delivery, continuous improvement, budgets, talent development, and compliance with IATF and ISO 14001 systems. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and five to eight years of manufacturing supervision or management experience are required.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Required Previous Experiences: Five to eight years of supervision or management experience in a manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications: Materials management, production control, logistics, supply chain, or MP&L experience
Automotive manufacturing, scheduling, inventory management, material flow, and customer delivery knowledge
Budget planning, forecasting, production cost management, and basic financial reporting
Quality and environmental management systems, including IATF and ISO 14001
Willingness to travel
Cross-functional leadership and accountability
