Description
AECOM is seeking an Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations and maintenance for a former mining facility, including the mine and tailing sites and supporting facilities. The role provides direct leadership to operations and maintenance staff, oversees reporting and compliance, manages invoicing and cashflow, subcontracting, scheduling, management of change, and serves as the primary interface with the owner, regulatory bodies, community stakeholders, and contractors. The position requires a relevant engineering or related bachelor’s degree, at least 8 years of relevant operational experience, US citizenship or a Green Card, and at least 30% of the time in Questa, New Mexico; sponsorship is not available.
