Description
Biffa is hiring an Operations Manager for its Waste Transfer Station at Hoods Close, Leicester. The site-based role runs Monday to Friday for 37.5 hours per week and reports to the General Manager. Responsibilities include leading safe and compliant waste-transfer operations, managing the site team and contractors, overseeing health, safety, environmental compliance, KPIs, budgets, and continuous improvement, and supporting decommissioning and site development. The role requires a valid UK driving licence, COTC in Waste and Recycling Management, and experience managing people, health and safety, employee relations, KPIs, and continuous improvement.
