Description
Biffa is hiring an Operations Manager to support the day-to-day running of a 24/7 waste-processing site that handles plastic, cans, and glass. Reporting to the Site Manager, the role oversees safe and compliant operations, production performance, budgets, safety culture, continuous improvement, and staff development, while deputising for the Site Manager when needed. The position works Monday to Friday for 37.5 hours per week on a 12:00–20:00 shift and requires experience managing operations, leading multidisciplinary teams, understanding health and safety and environmental compliance, and managing budgets and financial performance.
