Description
The Manager, Operations will report to the Senior Manager, Operations and supervise Hydro Technicians and Station Operators responsible for the construction, operation, maintenance, and repair of hydroelectric facilities and associated equipment. The role plans and coordinates maintenance activities, trains employees, responds to emergencies, ensures regulatory and labor-agreement compliance, manages small-to-medium maintenance and construction projects, and travels throughout the New York Region. Candidates need knowledge of hydroelectric operations, maintenance planning, preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, and computerized maintenance management systems, along with 5+ years of supervisory experience and a valid US driver’s license.
