Description

GrayMar Environmental Services is hiring an Operations Manager to support the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of an assigned branch or office. The role leads field teams, manages environmental remediation, industrial services, emergency response, and hazardous materials projects; supports sales, customer satisfaction, budgets, staffing, safety, compliance, financial reporting, and waste management; and responds to emergencies 24/7. Candidates need HAZWOPER or environmental education, substantial environmental and project-management experience, and extensive driving experience.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: A.S./A.A. degree or equivalent training and certifications in HAZWOPER/Environmental industry
Required Previous Experiences: 8+ years of HAZWOPER/Environmental supervisor and project management experience
5+ years of HAZWOPER/Environmental experience with 3+ years of supervisor and project management experience in a comparable industry
10+ years of driving experience with a current and clean driving record
Preferred Qualifications: Strong work ethic with a safety-first mindset
Ability to work independently or as part of a team while managing multiple tasks and deadlines
Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Thorough attention to detail and strong time management and organizational skills
