Weir is hiring an onsite Operations Manager in Newton, Mississippi, to lead manufacturing operations in a heavy-manufacturing environment. The role oversees Manufacturing Managers, translates site strategy into operating plans, manages production and delivery execution, coordinates with cross-functional support teams, drives lean manufacturing and continuous improvement, manages operational budgets and cost drivers, and reinforces safety culture. A bachelor's degree in business, engineering, operations management, or a related technical discipline is preferred, though equivalent experience may be considered, and at least five years of leadership experience in a lean heavy-manufacturing environment is required.
