Description
The Operations Manager oversees multiple building-materials operations, including manufacturing, distribution, warehousing, delivery, inventory control, equipment and facility maintenance, staffing, vendor evaluation, and customer and employee relations. The role reports to the General Manager, supervises plant managers or supervisors, coordinates cross-functional operations, and is responsible for operational budgets, schedules, performance reporting, safety compliance, and strategic planning. The position requires a bachelor’s degree and four years of directly related experience in the lumber or building materials industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, along with knowledge of procurement, inventory management, and people supervision.
