Description
Apple is seeking a Test Engineering Manager to lead the Test Engineering team for iPhone new-product projects. The role owns NPI build readiness, DFT deployment, ramp execution, and the transfer of mass-production test coverage from development to manufacturing sites; manages contract engineering resources and CM test teams; leads test automation, data observability, AI-assisted diagnostics, and factory test-system implementations; and develops CM test-team capabilities. The manager will also build and develop the Test Engineering team in India, manage performance and succession, and provide technical leadership to vendors and Contract Manufacturers. The position requires 10+ years of Test or Manufacturing Engineering, Failure Analysis, or related validation experience, including 3+ years in people management, and requires travel of up to 60% domestically.
