Description
The role supervises daily ground and area operations for shipments entering and exiting a country, including recovery, break-bulk, inspection, sorting, loading, receipt, dispatch, and transit-time compliance. It manages staffing and shift schedules, coordinates with warehouse providers, airlines, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders, monitors performance and quality, and leads a team through coaching, KPI management, training, and workforce planning. The position requires a diploma or equivalent, Line Trainer and First Aid certifications, IATA Dangerous Goods Acceptance Certification, 4–5 years of operations experience, logistics knowledge, Microsoft Office proficiency, and strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
