Description
The Operations Supervisor plans, coordinates, supervises, and participates in power-plant operations and maintenance at the Shady Hills Combined Cycle Facility in Spring Hill, Florida. The role oversees Operations Technicians and Seminole and contractor personnel on a 12-hour rotating shift, develops operational procedures and schedules, manages performance and training, coordinates dispatch and outage activities, leads troubleshooting and emergency response, and maintains safety, environmental, and NERC compliance standards. It requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 10 years of progressively responsible power-plant operations experience including five years in supervision or as a Control Room Operator, and preferably combined maintenance and combustion- and steam-turbine experience.
