Description

The 9-1-1 Operations Supervisor will supervise and coordinate the day-to-day operations of a 9-1-1 dispatch center on an assigned shift, including scheduling, assigning, directing, reviewing, and evaluating dispatchers and call takers. The role also handles emergency incidents, equipment and backup-system testing, call reviews, staffing and payroll support, disciplinary matters, training coordination, and on-call support. It requires at least three years of progressive 9-1-1 communications or communications-center operations experience, a high school diploma, and DPSST, CPR/AED, and LEDS certifications; the position works varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, and may serve as the Operations Manager in their absence.
