Description

The Operations Supervisor reports to the Operations Manager and oversees safe, compliant, and efficient daily operations at GFL's Debert industrial wastewater and used oil processing facility, which also manages tractor trucks and tanker trailers. The role supervises Operators, assigns and monitors work, maintains safety and environmental programs, coordinates vehicle and equipment maintenance, ensures operational records and permits are completed, supports training and employee relations, develops procedures, handles emergency operations, and remains on call as needed. Candidates need related engineering, environmental sciences, chemistry, or equivalent experience; at least three years of supervisory or leadership experience; union-environment, water treatment, and thermal-process experience; a Class 5 driver's license; and strong operational, computer, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
