Precoat Metals is seeking an Operations Support team member for their Portage, IN plant. The role involves assisting in various plant areas such as coating lines, slitting, shipping, receiving, paint vault, and packaging. Responsibilities include operating cranes and forklifts, packaging finished coils, inspecting for defects, reading production schedules, recording coil information, and loading/unloading trucks. The position requires a high school level of reading and writing, visual acuity, ability to comprehend written materials, effective communication, and the ability to operate hand tools. Candidates must be available for rotating 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays.
