The Operations Technician at Ag Partners is responsible for providing excellent customer service and supporting various departments through tasks such as driving a fertilizer tender truck, loading feed, filling anhydrous tanks, loading and unloading grain trucks, and performing general maintenance and housekeeping duties.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Previous experience related to grain, feed, fertilizer, chemicals and/or farm supplies is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with customers or employees of the cooperative.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, volume, and weights.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Able to deal with problems with several concrete variables in standard situations. Must be able to think quickly and perform a mental assessment of workplace hazards, take appropriate precautions, and choose appropriate PPE as dictated by need, regulation and labeling.
