Google is hiring an Operations Technician to install, configure, test, troubleshoot, and maintain data center hardware, server software, networks, and related infrastructure. The role includes deploying infrastructure, diagnosing equipment and operating-system issues, maintaining security and data integrity, performing repairs and preventative maintenance, and supporting larger installation projects. It requires hands-on hardware and networking troubleshooting, physical lifting and movement, non-standard hours, and travel; U.S. immigration sponsorship is not available.
