It requires extensive experience as an Operations Watch Officer, active Top Secret security clearance, and the ability to work independently during 12-hour night shifts.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 4+ years of experience as an Operations Watch Officer/Stander (Operations Specialist)
2+ years of experience at a national operations center (one or more of the 15 Executive Departments)
Experience in all-hazard operations and incident management.
Experience preparing situational awareness reports.
Experience in research and analysis, along with writing/editing emails and documents.
Experience in providing communication and coordination support to executives across various platforms at both unclassified and classified levels.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience using SIPRNet and JWICS in daily duties.
Experience using Emergency Notification Systems and secure phones.
Experience using geospatial tools to better understand which Commerce locations an incident may impact.
Understanding of Primary Mission Essential Functions (PMEFs) and assessing an incident’s impact on PMEFs.
