Description
Palmer Candy is hiring a 2nd-shift Operator at its Bluff St Facility to operate a production line and oversee the production and packaging of confectionary products. The role includes packaging, quality and equipment checks, sanitation, allergen and changeover procedures, inventory and production-record maintenance, equipment cleaning and inspections, and training team members. The schedule is Monday–Thursday from 4:30 PM to 3:00 AM, with Friday shifts varying from 6 to 10 hours and possible Saturday scheduling. Applicants need prior manufacturing machine-operation experience, English communication and reading skills, basic math ability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment; SAP or equivalent experience and a high school diploma or equivalent are preferred.
