The Plastic Molding Machine Operator manually operates a safety door on a molding machine to extract molded parts, load fixtures, and hand-load materials. The role also includes secondary trimming, emergency shutdowns, equipment cleaning, material-ticket identification, alarm response, leak mitigation, first- and last-shot collection, production-order completion, rework, overtime, safety, and training.
