Operator 2 at MP Materials

MP Materials is hiring a Production Operator 2 for the initial stages of a greenfield advanced manufacturing facility. The role operates rare earth processing and magnet-production equipment, including molten metal electrolysis and vacuum casting, while performing inspections, material preparation, equipment setup, process adjustments, data reporting, housekeeping, and safety duties. The operator will work in a 24/7 industrial environment, with a 12-hour rotating shift after production starts and possible shift variation during piloting. Candidates should have manufacturing experience, preferably in foundry, hot-metal, ceramics, glass, or other hot or molten materials processing, along with basic computer and ERP skills.
