Mars Petcare is hiring an Operator 2 for its Nutro manufacturing facility in Kansas City, Missouri, on a day-shift schedule. The role operates high-speed packaging and conversion equipment, performs troubleshooting, changeovers, basic preventive maintenance, sanitation, inventory staging, quality and food-safety monitoring, and peer coaching. Applicants need a high school diploma or GED, mechanical aptitude, analytical troubleshooting and basic computer skills, communication and reliability, and the ability to work independently; military experience in equipment operations, maintenance, logistics, or technical checklists is recognized. Preferred qualifications include pet-food or industrial manufacturing experience and familiarity with GMP, HACCP, FDA/USDA, OSHA, or lockout/tagout standards.
