The role operates shredding, grinding, extrusion, and pelletizing equipment used to manufacture recycled polyethylene. Responsibilities include maintaining machine settings and safety parameters, feeding scrap material, monitoring production output, reporting non-conforming product, performing preventative and predictive maintenance, completing administrative forms, and supporting coworkers. The position requires basic computer, problem-solving, math, reading, and writing skills; the ability to lift 50 pounds, stand for a 12-hour shift, and use personal protective equipment; and willingness to work overtime, holidays, and weekends.
