Description
The Production Associate operates food-production machinery, performs mixing and other operator duties, maintains clean and sanitary work areas, records production data, adjusts formulations, cleans equipment, and reports quality or safety issues. The role fills in for other associates during breaks or lunch, works five- or six-day schedules including weekends and holidays, and requires scheduled eight hours or more per day. It also involves heavy lifting, standing and walking for long periods, and the ability to read, write, speak English, perform arithmetic, and follow safety and lockout/tagout procedures.
