Description
The role performs routine analytical sample preparation and fire-assay procedures, including receiving, sorting, weighing, drying, crushing, splitting, screening, discarding, fluxing, fusion, and cupelling of samples. The position requires rotation across sample preparation and fire-assay departments, laboratory instrument maintenance, adherence to QHSE and ISO17025/SANAS requirements, and willingness to work overtime. Applicants need Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science or equivalent laboratory knowledge, and at least three years of analytical chemistry laboratory experience.
