Description
Veolia is hiring a Wastewater Treatment Facility (WWTF) Operator to operate, monitor, and maintain wastewater treatment systems and equipment. The role includes process control, sampling and laboratory testing, equipment inspections and minor repairs, chemical handling, recordkeeping, emergency response, and participation in on-call coverage. Candidates need a high school diploma or GED, prior wastewater or industrial operations experience, SCADA or industrial control-system experience, basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or instrumentation experience, and a state-certified wastewater treatment operator license. The position requires outdoor and confined-space work, physical activity, and adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
