Operator, Control Systems at Vanderbilt University

The Controls Systems Operator monitors and controls fire, security, HVAC, utility, and building systems across Vanderbilt University’s campus, analyzes alarms and failures, dispatches maintenance, manages utility interruptions, and provides off-hour plant operations coverage on a rotational shift. The role reports to the Building Systems Control Manager, has no supervisory responsibility, and requires a high school diploma or GED, at least two years of HVAC or call-center/dispatch experience, and strong communication and pressure-management skills.
