Description
The Operator, Senior monitors and adjusts water or wastewater treatment plant and raw water pump station operations using instrumentation, laboratory tests, SCADA, and process knowledge. The role performs sampling, minor preventative maintenance, recordkeeping, safety and emergency response, and may handle plant security during night shifts. It is an entry-level position requiring a high school diploma or GED, a Texas Class D Water or Wastewater Operator's Certificate of Competency within the first year, and a Class C certificate before three years of employment.
