Description
The City of Appleton is hiring a Public Works Parking Maintenance Technician to maintain, repair, and operate parking meters, pay stations, signage, lighting, and other parking infrastructure; collect parking revenue; perform custodial and general maintenance; remove snow and ice; and respond to emergencies. The role works Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with rotating weekend on-call and Saturday coverage as needed, and is supervised by the Parking Utility Manager. Applicants need mechanical troubleshooting, hand-tool, maintenance-equipment, and public-interaction skills, along with a valid driver's license and good driving record; some mechanical-repair experience and post-high-school training are preferred.
