Description
The Operator III monitors and operates water or wastewater treatment plants and raw water pumping plants, adjusting processes, equipment, flows, and treatment conditions; taking samples and laboratory tests; maintaining records; performing minor corrective maintenance; and responding to emergencies. The role requires a Texas Class C water or wastewater operator license, a valid Texas driver’s license, a high school diploma or GED, and three years of water/wastewater or raw water pumping plant experience. The stated salary is $24.690 to $32.097 per hour, with a third-shift differential of $3.00 per hour and benefits including employer-paid health and life insurance, paid time off, holidays, a 401(a) contribution, tuition reimbursement, and new-hire bonuses.
