Description
Kokosing is hiring a Heavy Equipment Operator Trainer to train and support heavy equipment operators in the field, develop their equipment-operation skills, mentor experienced operators, coordinate with operators, mechanics, superintendents, management, unions, trade schools, and vendors, inspect equipment, monitor safe and rated-capacity operation, and recommend operator placements. The role requires a high school diploma, at least five years of construction-operator experience, membership in good standing with the Operating Engineers Union, strong communication and leadership skills, basic computer skills, dirt-moving equipment knowledge, MSHA and OSHA knowledge, a valid driver’s license, and a good driving record. Approximately 90% of the work is performed in the field.
