Description
The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for safely operating and maintaining heavy equipment such as trucks, excavators, loaders, dozers, graders, and compactors; digging, trenching, grading, compacting, transporting materials, performing street maintenance, and conducting equipment checks. The role also includes installing signs and fencing, coordinating with pipelayers and laborers, maintaining trench safety, and working independently in all weather conditions. Candidates must have heavy-equipment operation knowledge, mechanical aptitude, safety training and certifications, and the ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work.
