The role supports ophthalmologists by preparing patients for examinations, providing customer service, verifying and documenting medical information, performing eye examinations and diagnostic tests, preparing patients for treatments, and maintaining exam rooms. Applicants need a high school diploma or GED, one year of related experience or training, and proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office; COA or COT certification is preferred but not required.
