SightMD is hiring an Ophthalmic Technician to support ophthalmic physicians across Riverhead, Southampton, and Hampton Bays. The role combines patient intake, pre-examination and advanced diagnostic testing, medication administration, contact lens fittings, minor surgical and laser procedure support, equipment and inventory management, and clinic administration. Candidates need a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of ophthalmic technician experience, and COA certification or enrollment with completion within two years of hire. The position requires rotating days, evenings, and weekends, travel between the three locations, and pays $24.50 hourly.
