Description
The role designs, implements, and optimizes manufacturing processes for optical thin-film coatings used in telecom product lines. It oversees production across multiple chambers and automated coating platforms, analyzes manufacturing data, supports new-product introduction, collaborates with cross-functional teams, resolves customer issues, and leads continuous improvement initiatives. The position requires a master’s degree in Physics, Engineering, or a related field and five years of optical coating process-engineering experience, along with expertise in sputter deposition, thin-film design, metrology, statistical process control, automation, and process documentation.
