Description
The Optical Component Inspector supports the manufacturing of highly precise optical components by inspecting glass lenses for defects and quality with a microscope, separating sensitive components at their edges with machine support, and facetting lenses. The role requires fine motor skills, strong visual acuity, the ability to follow written work instructions, cleanroom willingness, and a weekly rotating shift schedule of 6:00–14:00 or 14:00–22:00. Prior optics-related experience is advantageous but not required, and the employer offers benefits including pension, fitness or JobRad subsidies, and vacation.
