Description
The Optical Deployment Engineer will build and roll out global DWDM networks for AWS infrastructure, scale optical designs, create operational processes, evaluate equipment, support commercial tenders, implement network changes, and troubleshoot complex problems. The role requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field, experience with large DWDM network rollouts and optical planning and modelling tools, and professional development experience with Python or similar network automation scripting. Preferred qualifications include network and IP networking knowledge, programming or scripting experience, and strong analytical and communication skills.
