Description
The Optical Development Engineer will develop optical systems and subsystems for future Laser Communication Terminals, including optomechanical design, integration, alignment, testing, component specification, and performance evaluation. The role requires a degree in physics, optical engineering, or a comparable field, optical design and testing experience, Zemax knowledge, and strong German and English skills. It is a temporary agency employment position based in Backnang with a 35-hour workweek, starting immediately or by arrangement.
