Description
The Optical Development Engineer will develop and optimize optical systems, subsystems, and components for Si-Ware’s optical MEMS-based sensor products. Responsibilities include optical layout and configuration, modeling, simulation, characterization, testing, verification, and validation; integration with MEMS, electronics, mechanical, and software architectures; support for new product development, prototyping, manufacturing readiness, and product improvement; participation in design reviews; supplier and partner collaboration; and research into emerging optical technologies and intellectual property.
