The Optical Development Engineer will develop and optimize optical systems and subsystems for future Laser Communication Terminals, support opto-mechanical design and Design for Manufacturing, develop integration, alignment, adjustment, and test concepts, specify optical components, evaluate supplier proposals, and plan and execute optical and prototype tests. The role is based in Backnang, starts immediately, and is full-time.
