Description
The Optical Dispensing Associate assists customers with frame and lens selection, interprets prescriptions, analyzes optical products and services, fits and dispenses eyewear, verifies pricing, maintains a clean dispensing area, and supports apprentice opticians. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, applicable state ophthalmic dispensing licensure, optical knowledge, customer communication skills, basic computer literacy, and onsite work. Pay is $27–$40.50 per hour, with incentive pay, wage upgrades, and overtime opportunities.
