Description
The Optical Dispensing Associate assists customers with frame and lens selection, interprets prescriptions, provides product and insurance-benefit information, sells and dispenses optical products, maintains dispensing-area accuracy and cleanliness, coordinates with labs and optometrists, and works toward licensure as a Licensed Optician. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a current New York or Massachusetts Apprentice permit, and one to three months of related experience or training. It is a full-time onsite position paying $17.50 to $26.25 per hour, with incentive pay, wage upgrades, and overtime opportunities.
