Description
The Optical Dispensing Associate assists customers with frame and lens selection, interprets prescriptions, analyzes optical products and services, and fits and dispenses eyewear. The role also provides insurance-benefit information, maintains dispensing-area cleanliness, ensures compliance with social distancing and cleaning protocols, supports apprentice opticians, and maintains customer pricing accuracy. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, applicable state ophthalmic dispensing licensure, and knowledge of optical products, prescription interpretation, and fitting. The position is full-time, onsite, and pays $24.50–$36.75 per hour plus incentive.
