Description
The Optical Engineer will develop next-generation optical health sensors for Apple Watch and AirPods by designing optical systems, performing simulations and prototype-based assessments, analyzing user and sensor performance data, and evaluating designs for cross-functional and senior leadership audiences. The role requires knowledge of optical system design for wearable sensing, experience driving sensor development from bench-top to high-volume production, cross-functional technology development experience, strong communication and documentation skills, and a bachelor's degree with at least 10 years of relevant industry experience.
