Description
The Optical NPI Engineering Manager leads new-product-introduction engineering and cross-functional teams through product transfer, tooling and process setup, gate reviews, manufacturing support, yield improvement, and transition to mass production. The role provides optical engineering expertise to product development, manufacturing, process engineering, contract manufacturers, and customers, while coaching engineering teams and resolving technical issues. It requires a bachelor's degree in an optical or related technical discipline and at least five years of relevant experience.
