Description
The Optical HW Engineer will support the optical design, integration, and optical design verification testing of coherent transceivers, DCO pluggables, and transponder line cards. Responsibilities include evaluating optical components, developing schematics and layouts, executing design and test tasks, creating technical documentation, running automation scripts, comparing results to specifications and industry standards, and collaborating with firmware, hardware, optics, and cross-functional teams. The role requires a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant engineering field and at least three years of experience in optical integration and testing of coherent modules or transponders.
