Description

Molex is hiring an Optical Engineer Intern in Fremont, California to support the development and improvement of optical processes for the alignment, assembly, integration, calibration, and testing of optical switching systems. The intern will work under engineering guidance, conduct optical design-of-experiments, characterize and troubleshoot systems, analyze experimental data, and document engineering results. Candidates should be pursuing a master’s degree in optics, photonics, physics, or electrical engineering with optical orientations; a Ph.D. and experience with fiber-optic components, testing setups, optical alignment stations, and Python are preferred.
