The role designs, analyzes, tests, and develops optical systems for military fire control, missile, and laser applications; supports manufacturing, integration, alignment, hardware troubleshooting, and program cost-reduction activities; and maintains optical prescriptions and tolerance analyses. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in optics, physics, or a related field, or be pursuing a master's degree, along with the ability to obtain a US DoD security clearance and occasional travel. The full-time salary range is $81,100 to $150,500, with medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
