Description
Infleqtion is hiring an Optical Engineer for its Quantum Computing Product Group. The role designs, builds, aligns, tests, and validates complex optical subsystems for neutral-atom quantum computing platforms, with hands-on laboratory work and collaboration across physics and engineering disciplines. Responsibilities include Zemax optical modeling and optimization, optical assembly and troubleshooting, system integration, technical documentation, and improving workflows and laboratory procedures. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in optical engineering, physics, or a related field, optical alignment and laboratory measurement experience, Zemax familiarity, and strong experimental documentation practices; up to 10% travel may be required.
