IonQ is hiring an Optical Integration Engineer for its Quantum Networking team in Bothell, Washington, with a hybrid arrangement allowing a few days per week remotely. The role integrates optical, mechanical, and electrical subsystems; performs precision optical alignment, measurements, assembly, documentation, and troubleshooting; and collaborates with mechanical, electrical, software, systems, and control engineering teams. Candidates need an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, 2–5 years of optical or precision-optics experience, cleanroom and optical-alignment experience, and strong troubleshooting and documentation skills. The position offers a base salary of $99,782–$143,083 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
