Description
Optimax is hiring Optical Machinist Technicians for all shifts, including A-shift, B-shift, and C-shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week and overtime as needed. The role involves setting up and operating conventional, CNC, grinding, polishing, centering, and inspection equipment; mounting workpieces; grinding and polishing optics; operating coordinate-measuring machines; and inspecting precision parts against specifications. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, basic computer and Microsoft Office skills, CNC Mill programming with Mastercam, GD&T knowledge, shop math, blueprint interpretation, and at least two years of machining experience for entry-level applicants.
